This is our church
Jesus says – “I will build my church”
What does God want you to do this year, in his church, to help build his church? We can all be involved in building God’s church but the question is do we want to? What is God calling you to do? God calls us to be committed to His church, and not only that, but to be committed to the people in His church. As we come to worship each week may our lives be full of Jesus. Then His church will be full of LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF- CONTROL - then the world will know that we are his disciples.
This is Stepping Stone
Since we have built Stepping Stone in 2003 God as really blessedus in many different ways. It is used so many times during the week. From the Wednesday Fellowship to a homeless action group called “The Olive Branch”, where guests are given a meal and support if it is needed. Our young people use Stepping Stone to hang around and have funand hear about Jesus. Stepping Stone is used on a daily basis for God’s ministry. On Sunday mornings the little ones use it for all kinds of teaching, and we have fellowship with one another after the services with tea, coffee biscuits and by sharing and loving one another like Jesus taught us to do.
Many people think that " The Church " is a bulding with stained glass windows, steeple, organ etc. But God's church is His people. These are some recent photos of people at Lancaster Free Methodist Church celebrating 25 years together.
